Ingredients
Milk- 2 cups
Raisin - 1/2 cup
White bread slices - 12
Butter - 1 cup
Mixed fruit Jam - 1 cup
Eggs-2,
Castor sugar- 1 cup,
Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon
Instructions
Boil 2 cups milk,
Cook until the milk gets reduced to 3/4th quantity, remove from gas and set aside,
Soak 1/2 cup raisin in a bowl of warm water, set aside,
Trim the crust of 12 slices of white bread,
Cut into neat triangles to make 24 halves,
Spread some butter on both sides of 12 bread triangles,
Spread jam on just one side of the other 12 triangles,
Take one each of a butter and jam triangle, make a sandwitch like photo,
Get all the sandwitches ready in same manner,
Take the reduced milk to a mixing bowl, add 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, 1 cup castor sugar,
Mix well until all are mixed together very well,
Arrange the butter and jam sandwitches in a butter greased baking pan,
Pour the ready custard on top,
Sprinkle the soaked and drained raisins on top,
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees dor 20 to 25 minutes,
